Europe, Tax, Crime and Immigration… Same Old Tories

In the last 10 days, David Cameron has made many announcements on what Tim Montgomery of Conservative Home calls, the four “core vote issues” for traditional Conservatives. Damian Green MP has denied that there was a shift to the right and denied that David Cameron was trying to bolster his flagging position by moving to a core vote strategy.

To me, a biased Labour supporter, the announcements by David Cameron in the last 10 days are not a surprise and they sound like the 2005 Michael Howard election manifesto that David Cameron helped write.

David Cameron pretends to be all change, but it seems more to me like same old Tories – but perhaps that is what they want. If it is and he accepts, he will lose the next General Election.
